Chardonnay is a Planeta white wine with a full, smooth and round taste.

It goes well with risotto, white meats and raw ham, but also with fish and smoked meats and, if aged for a few years, blue cheeses.

Light gold in color, deep and at the same time transparent, Planeta Chardonnay has excellent balance, is energetic and savory. Ripe yellow peaches, acacia honey and almond paste mingle with cereal and toasted scents, creating a perfect harmony, culminating in a slightly mineral, yet powerful and balanced finish.

Planeta Chardonnay is aged in 225-liter Allier oak barriques; half new and half second and third passage. You can drink it immediately, but also wait for it to age 8 to 10 years.
