From the vineyards of Lodi, some 60 miles east of San Francisco comes this Old Vine Zinfandel, from vines planted by early Italian immigrants and showing the variety's true character. It is a big, bold and uncompromising wine; ripe and powerful from low-yielding vines. Deep plum colour with intense aromas of spice, chocolate, raspberry, cranberry and plum jam. Bold and mouth-filling with plenty of alcohol and fruit mixed with creamy vanilla oak and ripe tannins.
