RICHARD DHONDTThis amazing champagne is made by a small Premier Cru and Grand Cru grower in the prime village of Dizy just outside Epernay.
CHAMPAGNE CUVEE DE RESERVE BRUTThis champagne is made from equal percentages of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay, with 50% reserve (older) wine and then aged for a minimum of 18 months, giving soft fruity but toasty flavours.
This is a superb find: good quality, sensibly priced with a smart label, reminiscent of Bollinger RD. If you want inexpensive champagne, we believe you will not find better than this.
