Telish winery was built in the late 1960's but was a state-owned monopoly until recently, when it was bought in 1999 by Jair Agopian. His main focus is on producing new and complex quality wines. Telish winery can be considered as a leader of the new image of Bulgarian wines. Master Winemaker Michel Rolland is the exclusive consultant for this estate. 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Syrah
Deep ruby colour, intense and impressive nose. Full of ripe black cherries, sweet spices, earthy tones, cocoa and caramel. Medium to full bodied, with ripe black berries and black currant. Elegant, with a long finish.
Great with spicy pastas, beef ragout and steak.
With Michel Rolland at the helm this winery is likely to go far.
