Established as a tavern in Cremona in 1921; the Decordi family bought, blended and branded wines from local growers. Over time this developed into the production of their own wines from local vineyards, and by 1950 the company was producing 3 million litres of wine annually. Further expansion saw them buying grapes from other regions in Italy, and beginning the production of sparkling wines; and by the 1980s they were producing wine for export. The original tavern has been maintained as a reminder of where the company began.
Fruity fun with red apple and strawberry flavours, bright acidity and a fresh finish. Brut in style.
Best as an aperitif; light and easy to enjoy.
A good alternative to prosecco, this northern Italian fizz is celebration in a bottle. A customer-favourite here at Friarwood.
