In Magliano in Toscana, in the rolling hills south of Grosseto, Francesco Bolla set out with Poggio Verrano to realize his dream: to make an intense and elegant red wine, typical of the region, free of all trends. Dròmos literally means route and Francesco is well on the way as witnessed by the 94 Parker points for this Dròmos Maremma Toscana which receives it year-in-year-out
Imported directly. The prize winner from Tuscany. A complex blend of cabernet, merlot, sangiovese and cabernet franc. Aged for 18 months in oak and then a minimum of 24 months in bottle aging. Ruby red with beautiful launched acids and tannins. Dark red fruit. This can compete with Brunello's but then clearly more wine for the money.
The 2010 Dromos has been selected in the VINUM magazine in the special edition about "Top of Toskana 2018" and has again received 94 Parker points.
German Swiss VINUM - Top of Toskana 2019. Dromos 2010 which has got 17.5 points and the "star" being one of the only 105 wines "Top of Toskana 2019" among the 1300 tasted and the 700 selected.
