The Bogle family has been active in agriculture for more than 100 years. Since the end of the 1960s, grapes have also been grown in the California wine region of Clarksburg and later also Lodi. This wine is made from Pinot Noir grapes from the vineyards in Russian River Valley, Monterey and Clarksburg. The wine has aged for 10 months in French and American Oak barrels.
The Bogle Pinot Noir is a spicy fruity elegant red wine. In the glass the Bogle has a light garnet red color with slender tears; spicy nose with dried thyme and bay leaf, red currants and freshly ground white pepper; broad flavor, spicy and dry, mouth-filling with firm tannins, slender finale with jelly of red berries. Fits spicy prepared poultry and ribs, stews and au gratin vegetables. Do not drink too hot and we recommend 15 ° C
Bogle is certified by various bodies: California Certified Sustainable Winegrowing, Lodi Rules Certified Green Certificate and the "Sacramento Area Sustainable Business" Certificate.
