Christopher Cannan, founder of Eurovin (1978) «discovered» Priorat in the 1980s and bought the Clos Figueras estate in 1997. North of the village of Gratallops, 18 hectares. Llicorella (slate) soil. Ecological viticulture. Grenache, Syrah, Cariñena, Mourvèdre and Cabernet Sauvignon gives a deep red, complex full bodied. The wine ages 12 months in French oak barrels of 300 and 500 liters. The Font de la Figuera Priorat is a subtle, balanced wine with beautiful integration of the oak, fine tannins and good acids. This is a delicious (and still affordable) Priorat wine
