Winery Emil Bauer & Söhne is a family business led by the fifth generation: Alexander and Martin Bauer. The My Merlot is not the Answer is a 100% merlot from the Pflaz, which is without a doubt the most beautiful area for red grapes. The wine has had wood aging for 3-4 months. The merlot is dark red in the glass. In the nose nice and fresh tones of doner fruit such as berry and blackberry. On the palate the wine is medium bodied, fruity with again cherry and berry and the wine ends with soft tannins and a rounded finish. Do not drink this wine too warm and we recommend around 16/17 degrees. The wine is a good companion of lamb and hard cheeses and in addition to the content, the dressing is also controversial on the table.
