Albert Jané started a few years ago with this small family business in the DO Montsant, the area surrounding the DO Priorat. He has named the bodega Acustic, acoustic, because he believes in working with his wines as pure and unenhanced as possible. The grapes are grown organically and all the work in the vineyard and also the picking is manual. He works with barrels of French oak with a very light toasting. The grape must continue to dominate.
Acústic is both the name of the bodega and the entry-level wine of this domain. This name was chosen because Albert wants to be one with the region, the terroir and nature, and want to reflect its authenticity in his wines. Viticulture and vinification takes place in the purest form; they work here according to biodynamic wine-growing techniques without faltering.
