The white Godello Fermentado and Barrica had its fermentation in stainless steel tanks and after the fermentation was transferred by gravity (so no pumps) to 500-liter French oak barrels for 6 months on its own lees (sur lie). The wine is clear golden yellow in the glass. In the nose, the wine is very intense with complex notes of lemon, apple, peach and fresh watermelon with a hint of vanilla and butterscotch. On the palate this barrel of fermented wine is medium bodied with a balanced acidity, soft tannins with aromas of quince, lime, grapefruit, apricot and again the butterscotsch in the distance.
