The Director series is the middle segment and for us personally one of the most beautiful series. As with the Directors Cut, the wines come from Sonoma, but the Director series came about when the winemaker set out to create a range of wines to reflect his own artistic interpretation of the Sonoma County appellation. In De Director's wines, the fruit comes from several Sonoma County vineyards, each with its own climate and terroir. The Directors series wines are characterized by lush, ripe fruit, a light silky texture and soft, supple tannins. Coppola's Director's wines showcase Sonoma County's unique character and style.
