The trademark of the Mencia grape is its smoky flesh, soft fruity tannins and a long spicy finish. This is a medium-heavy, delicious and very stylish wine, best suited for spring / summer / fall. The Telmo Rodriguez Gaba do Xil Mencia (gosh, that's a mouthful isn't it!) Is a beautiful, easy to drink wine. An ideal wine to drink slightly chilled on a terrace, but also a perfect companion with poultry and raw fish and sushi.
