The red version of Le Renard works in broadly the same way as the white one. Grapes from the Côte Chalonnaise are combined into an attractive red Burgundy, a grape that derives its great class from the special Pinot-Noir grape. The grapes are harvested ripe, but with enough acidity to give the wine tension and freshness. The wine ferments and matures in stainless steel, so that it retains a delicious fruity character. A delicious glass of red, with a complexity that is more than remarkable for an ordinary Burgundy.
The Devillard Le Renard Pinot Noir Bourgogne' is a deep ruby red glass. With delicious sweet fruit, strawberries, raspberries on the nose, beautifully intense and seductive. Fresh and invigorating in the mouth, also fine red fruit in the taste, with a slight spiciness and good acidity, so that the mouthfeel remains wonderfully fresh. Powerful red wine. Delicious with risotto with porcini mushrooms, wild duck, wild boar, mature cheese. As we advise with all Pinot Noirs, do not drink it too warm. We prefer between 14-15 degrees.
