Winery Il Carpino is located in San Floriano del Collio, a village on the border with neighboring Slovenia. This small family winery owns 17 hectares of vineyard in Fruili. The family takes great pride in being able to master every stage of winemaking. They consider themselves representatives and custodians of the Friuli terroir and take this task and responsibility very seriously.

The Vigna Runc Sauvignon is a 100% Sauvignon Blanc which is organically grown and produced. In the glass the wine has a light bright straw yellow color. In the nose aroma of mineral tones and elderflower with a little granny smith and some light citrus. In the mouth fresh, crisp, invigorating with pleasant acidity. Everything is very well balanced which ensures that this never gets boring. Delicious with grilled fish and seafood and of course this is also a delicious aperitif.
