This Chardonnay is light straw yellow in color with a vibrant green hue and is produced by the somewhat eccentric Australian winery Barramundi. The winemaker is Liz Marwood. When you lift your glass you can smell fruit bowls full of cantaloupes, nectarines and citrus blossoms, and also roasted oak and metal kissed by the rain, according to the winery's description of this tasty Chardonnay. This lively white wine has a creamy lemon curd, nectarine and pineapple flavor, is elegant and has a refreshing aftertaste.
Made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes.
This Chardonnay is delicious with seafood or roasted (pork) meat. Also great with a panna cotta recipe with peaches poached in vanilla. Also delicious on its own with a pleasant drink or lunch.
