Produce the best of what the land can give you with a lot of affection and dedication. This is the motto of Domaine Léoube - one of the most beautiful protected vineyards in Europe and home to Château Léoube. The Léoube estate was bought in 1997 by the Bamfort family, who are still the owners to this day. Seduced by this castle in Provence, the history and beauty of Léoube, they wanted to make wines of character that are true to their region and at the same time respect nature
The winemaker of Château Léoube is famous Romain Ott and we work from the vision to produce the best of what the land offers us with great affection and passion.
The Léoube rose comes from the Côtes de Provence appellation - without a doubt the most beautiful area for the high end Rose's. The wine is organically produced and certified so we work without poison, fertilizers & pesticides. It is a blend of certified organic grapes from Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah and Mourvèdre. The grapes are picked by hand and destemmed and pressed very lightly but also very slowly. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in thermo-regulating stainless steel tank at a very low temperature and the wine is given all the time to mature and absorb all the flavors of the grapes.
The Chateau Leoube Cotes de Provence Rose de Leoube has a lively but subtle nose of pears and red fruits. This elegant Provencal rosé has an unusually soft mouthfeel, with aromas of strawberries, hints of pineapple and red berries. The wine has received a whopping 91/100 Parker points and the review ends with "...... this is a wine with a remarkable complexity in its genre, with those spicy notes that come back and a persistent, silky aftertaste"
