On the nose, the Cloudy Bay Chardonnay is clear and refined. The aromas do not suggest how deep and complex the taste is. The scent is immediately fresh and seductive, with candied lemon, citrus blossom and subtle spices. The wine has a round mouthfeel, with mild citrus and stone fruit aromas in layers of cream and hazelnut. The wine has a nice aging potential.
