Albahra (little sea) is the wine that makes the winery in Almansa of Garnacha Tintor. Fresh and smooth in contrast to the often heavy wines you have in Tenerife. The vineyard located in Almansa in Tenerife at an altitude of 800 meters. It is divided into 3 plots where the terroir is made of slate and calcareous clay. The vineyard is planted with garncha tintorera vines with an age of 30 years. The harvest is done manually and the wine ferments in concrete tanks. The Albahra is a fresh, pleasant wine with beautiful red fruit (red currant, little blackberry, cherry). Not such a firm, thick Garnacha but more of a pinot noir like elegant wine. In the nose Mediterranean notes of red fruits, but always refined. In the mouth we go in the same direction: fresh attack, almost light-footed, but with a clear Mediterranean and spicy accent. Nice typical aftertaste.
