Over the years, the Weingut Fritsch has built up a great reputation with its wines from separate vineyards. That is also the great advantage of the wines under the name 'Windspiel', for which the grapes can be used that do not have the depth and concentration for the special vineyard wines. They can therefore have a special quality. The Steinberg is a special wine hill, which is one of the few vineyards in the Wagram with a subsoil of weathered rock instead of loess. This gives the wines their very own character, with a pronounced minerality and freshness. The vines on this slope are over forty years old, producing wines of great concentration and depth. It is very rich in character, and at the same time fresh and uplifting. A beautiful glass of Grüner Veltliner of an exceptional class.
The Gruner Veltliner Steinberg from the Austrian winery Fritsch has an elegant open taste with lots of fresh acidity and liveliness, beautifully powerful and juicy, tasty, intense, with beautiful acids and a lot of minerality. In the nose, the Veltliner has the typical delicious citrus and grapefruit tones with white fruit, pear and peach, beautifully complex and broad. This is a delicious aperitif with risotto with asparagus, omelette with wild herbs, shellfish and shellfish.
