The Rosa Salae from the famous winemaker Antonio Caggiano is a beautiful lively rosé wine. Made from 100% Aglianico grapes. This wine has a beautiful light pink color and has fine fruity aromas of raspberry, strawberries, pomegranate and floral undertones of roses in the nose. The lively freshness and delicate juiciness are a great pleasure in the glass.
The grapes for this beautiful rosé come from vineyards in Contrada Sala in Taurasi and are located about 350 meters above sea level with a location to the southwest. The soil of the vineyards is a mixture of clay and limestone. The grapes are harvested manually at the beginning of October, after which they are pressed very gently and then allowed to ferment under controlled temperatures in stainless steel vats.
This top-quality Aglianico rosé is perfect as an aperitif or on the terrace, but can also be used in a culinary way in combination with, for example, summer salads with gently smoked fish, seafood and oriental cuisine.
The winery is located in Taurasi, Italy, in the Campania wine region. Taurasi is known for its atmosphere of folklore, ancient traditions, historic architecture and religion. The city of Taurasi has a historic city center with amazing architectural delights and ancient works of art. Old churches and chapels beautify the area with its many folkloric festivals and traditions. Taurasi is an important wine center for the region. Winery Antonio Caggiano is one of the wineries we like to associate our name with! That is why this beautiful winery has been included in our Grandcru wines exclusive range.
