Anita Kuhnel used to be a professional cyclist. With the same drive, she now puts all her energy into making Beaujolais wines at Domaine Anita. Anita only uses high-quality terroirs for this. In doing so, she makes wines from the Gamay grape that has already received several high scores from renowned critics, including Robert Parker, James Suckling and Wine Enthusiast. The Gamay grapes for this Anita Moulin-à-Vent Tres Vieille Vigne Les Caves come from the lieu-dit 'Aux Caves' in the Moulin-à-Vent appellation. This vineyard is located on a granite subsoil, at an altitude of 220 meters, and is oriented to the south/southeast. The vines are 45 years old. The grapes are picked by hand and selected in the vineyard. The fermentation takes place for 11 days using the maceration semi-carbonique technique, also called "Vinification Beaujolaise". This gives the wine a fruity character and ensures a smooth taste structure. After fermentation, the wine matures for 6 months in cement tanks and partly in wood and then 4 months in the bottle.

In the glass, the Tres Vieille Vigne Les Caves is ruby red with a purple glow. Very floral and elegant on the nose. irises. Raspberries and strawberries.
