Winemaker of Petit Balthasar and the Balthasar's big brother is Pierrick Harang. However, there is no family castle or extensive vineyards, just five generations of wine merchants and oenologists who all share the same passion to produce the best wines.

The roots of Pierrick and family are in Algeria and after Algerian independence his grandparents & parents gave up everything to flee to France. His father continued his knowledge & career there in Champagne, among other things as cellar master of the large champagne house GH. MUMM to work.

His range of wines, with a naturally lower alcohol content, are known for their delicious, fruit-driven and elegant wines. Purely for qualitative reasons, he chose not to reduce the alcohol, but to work directly on the vines. Pierrick is a freak when it comes to picking on time, finding the right parcels of fruit and most importantly stimulating your senses!

The Petit Balthazar is a pleasant and fruity white wine made from the Viognier and Sauvignon Blanc grape. The wine is light straw yellow in color with silver hues. In the nose notes of lime, grapefruit and exotic fruit. Fresh in taste and extremely pleasant. Special about this wine is the low alcohol content of only 11%. A delicious glass for the terrace or as an aperitif and delicious with goat cheese, pike perch, spring rolls, scallops and perfect as an aperitif.
