Weingut Schwarz was founded by Hans Schwarz, originally a true butcher. A vineyard that has been looked after by the family for generations. The Butcher line is set up to represent the Schwarz Weiss and Rot wines. The Butcher wines are all made for their drinkability. The Butcher series is now a serious hype. The great unique trim and the price/quality make this a very popular wine.
The Weingut Schwarz Butcher Chardonnay is, as the name suggests, a 100% Chardonnay from the Austrian Burgenland. The wine was aged for 6 months in stainless steel to preserve its freshness. In the nose we smell passion fruit, citrus fruit and apple. In the mouth the flavors come back with a
mineral finish with good freshness and spiciness. This makes it a very elegant, fresh, not too heavy and very pleasant white chardonnay. A delicious glass to drink on its own, but it is also an excellent accompaniment to a light pasta salad, dishes with light smoked fish or served with veal.
