The Villa Bucci is located near Montecarotto in the Marches, one of the 'Castelli di Jesi'. His Verdicchio Villa Bucci has been named the best white wine in Italy several times by Gambero Rosso. The wines excel in beauty and elegance - so organic, not exaggerated in the alcohol, low yields and in particular the Verdicchio wines are very famous and Bucci is the only one to receive the highest score in the Gambero Rosso for its Riserva for 10 years in a row wines. These also excel in saving potential. Even wines from 1988 are still incredibly fresh and acquire their own character due to aging.
In the glass, the Villa Bucci Verdicchio Classico has a straw yellow color. In the nose wonderfully pure and elegant with beautiful white fruit such as apple, but also more ripe yellow fruit, in addition clear floral tones and a light minerality. In the mouth a soft attack, a stronger emerging minerality and a small bitterness, with mild acids. The concentration can carry the alcohol content effortlessly. All in all, a beautiful, complex and refined Verdicchio from the Godfather of this wine.
