The high-quality sherries from Alvaro Domecq have recently become available with us. The sherry house, which is new to Jerezian standards, underwent a name change from Bodegas Pilar Aranda to Alvaro Domecq a few years ago, after a legal battle had arisen with Allied Domecq about the use of the Domecq name.

Although less well-known in the Netherlands than other sherries, the La Jaca is one of the most appreciated and experts speak and write passionately about this Jerez wine. It is dry but with a sweet tooth. Drink lightly chilled and delicious with salty dishes and a delicious aperitif
