Bocelli Prosecco Extra Dry DOC

This Prosecco Extra Dry from the Bocelli Family comes from beautiful vineyards from the hilly region in the province of Treviso. A fantastic wine, pale straw-yellow in color, with excellent and very elegant fruity aromas of ripe apple and yellow peach. The Bocelli bubble is elegant and fruity, a fine and persistent bubble and a pleasant bouquet of ripe apple, peach and apricot. This Prosecco works really well with so-called 'hors d'oeuvres'.

The Bocelli Prosecco Extra Dry is produced according to the Charmat method whereby a second fermentation takes place not in the bottle, but in the stainless steel barrel. Yeast and sugar are added to the tank, creating carbon dioxide. Because this carbon dioxide cannot escape, it dissolves in the wine. Liqueur d'expédition is added for bottling, a mixture of cane sugar, white wine and possibly esprit de cognac. When the second fermentation is finished, the sparkling wine is bottled under pressure. There is no contact with the outside air at any time.

Winery Bocelli Families

Of course we all knew that Andrea Bocelli can sing great. But I don't think so many people know that he and his brother Alberto run the wine empire. The winery of Bocelli is located in the beautiful Tuscan hills, near San Gimignano. Wine has been made here for more than 3 generations. In addition, there are also vineyards in the Veneto and near Venice where the white wines and sparkling proseccos come from.
