An award-winning (IWSC Gold Outstanding 2018) wine from the 2013 vintage – a great year for our Chardonnay. Generous lemon, lime and green apple fruits and a bracing acidity are balanced by a slightly higher dosage. A true English classic. Vintage - 2013 Vineyard - The grapes came from our 2011 planting at Greyfriars and the 25 year old grapes from our "Old Plot". Grape Varieties - 100% Chardonnay ABV - 12% How Made - The grapes were hand picked and whole bunch pressed. Fermented and aged in staineless steel tanks before bottling. Put through malolactic fermentation Bottled - Summer 2015 Numbers - 2,000 bottles Disgorged - May 2016 onwards Released - September 2015.
