The Casg Annamh is a Single Malt which has been matured in three different types of cask: European Oak Sherry Cask and two different types of American Oak. The Spanish oak Oloroso Sherry casks have a significant influence on the non-chill filtered liquid and perfectly compliment Aberlours distillate flavour- bringing sweet and rich notes.

On the nose the aromas are rich and sweet with fruity notes of tangy orange- glazed cherries- raisins and a hint of ginger. The Sweet and fruity notes continue on the palate - apple and cinnamon crumble and ripe peaches balanced with spicy notes of liquorice and cloves. The finish is long and rich- fruity with a touch of dry spice.
