The second in a pair from Glen Scotia for the Benchmark series- this vatting was matured in cask #4 whilst its twin was matured in cask #3. Finished in a Vosne-Romanée wine cask- expect a very fruity character.
Nose: Raisins- frangipane and plum tart.
Palate: Autumn fruits- granola and a touch of spice.
Finish: More ripe plum and a hint of citrus.
