This three year old Single Malt Whisky was matured in HighGlens signature casks; primarily constructed of specially coopered 100 litre casks made from Ex-Bourbon staves- and Ex-Sherry heads.
Fruit and nut chocolate comes for the fore- the fruits get a little darker with time- plums and black cherry. More rich chocolate on the palate- along with dried peel- spices- caramel- with a slight herbal woodiness.
