A rare 1966 vintage Springbank.  Not to be confused with the Local Barley bottling of the same year- this was bottled in the early to mid 1980's-and was distilled shortly after the distillery had closed it's own floor maltings.  Using a combination of ex- Bourbon cask and Olorosso Sherry casks- this has a moderate sherry character and slight smokiness on the palate.
