The Franci family, raised in Montalcino for many generations, started its
business making honey by the patriarch of the family Guido Franci. Franci Franca
winery, run by his son Fabio Tassi, is strongly bonded with Montalcino’s

Tassi, Rosso di Montalcino is a bold Rosso that reflects the character and
personality of the land and winery. The richness of the soil and meticulous care
of the vineyard have made this estate one of the finest in the Montalcino
region. The wine is bright red with a fragrant and aromatic bouquet of red
fruit, minerals and flowers. The wine has a cheery and red berry character with
notes of balsamic, cedar and earth. Full bodied with powerful structure and
balanced tannins.
