The Marquis Guerrieri Gonzaga family have been proud custodians of Tenuta San
Leonardo, located at the foot of the Dolomites, for over three centuries. Rich
in history, the monastery dates over 1000 years old with traces of Roman
influences visible by the frescos adorning the old chapel walls. "This one took
me by surprise when first tried on release - San Leonardo and white wine
production did not compute in my mind. However it was a matter of moments to get
with the programme." Tom Harrow, Wine Guru
"The Vette is 100% Sauvignon Blanc and is full of thirst quenching deliciousness
with notes of green apple, gooseberry, sage and white peach. The palate is
expressive with riper gooseberry, peach and pineapple along with a fine mineral
backbone and an unctuous oily texture which is just divine. Enjoy as an aperitif
or with grilled fish, white meats, soft cheeses and charcuterie." Angus, Wine
