The GlenDronach distillery in the Forgue Valley in Aberdeenshire is named after the source of its water, the Dronac Burn. Today's malt is created using traditional wooden washbacks and the same shaped stills used in 1826. The Hielan' offers crisp, vibrant oak spices, warm soaked sultanas, apricot am and gingerbread; all rounded by delicate hints of butterscotch, cocoa and toasted almonds.
