The MacAllan Estate Reserve was brought out for the Travel Retail Market. Aged in sherry-seasoned Hogshead barrels, this whisky delivers notes of berries, sherried spices, oak and nutmeg. The finish contains a fantastic mix of nuts and chocolate with a wee citrus tinge. Distilled at 45.7%, an unusual strength for such a whisky.
