Thelema Gargantua Muscadel
The flavor profile of Thelema Gargantua Muscadel is remarkable; seductive aromas of toffee, raisins, fruit and caramelized nuts and honeycomb on the nose. The taste is rich and luscious and has a long and lingering finish. This limited edition sweet Muscat wine is a unique single vineyard wine from Thelema.
The grapes are hand-picked early in the morning to ensure the fruit is chilled when it arrives in the cellar. The bunches are destemmed and crushed and the juice is then pumped into stainless steel tanks where it rests on the skin for 2 days before being pressed. The must is clarified, fortified and matured for no less than 19 years in old French oak barrels.
