Aromas of citrus peel, ripe white fruit and floral notes with mineral hints. The palate is fresh and clean with a lovely texture and weight, strong minerality and excellent softness.
WHY ATTENTION CHENIN MECHANT? This means Beware of Dangerous Chenin (it is a joke, explains Nicolas Reau, and a play on words (in France the sign bearing the words Attention Chien Méchant - Beware of dangerous dog- is found on gates and doors of houses). Nicolas explains that it is his companion, Sylvie Augereau, who thought of the name (she had already used this phrase in a book that she had written)
