This wine has a beautiful ruby colour and shows aromas of black cherry. It is harmonious with rounded and supple tannins and a lingering finish.
The grapes which go to make this wine are from south easterly facing parcels on the hill of Corton, namely Clos du Roi, Les Bressandes, Les Grèves, Les Perrières. This cuvée, being blended each year from several different terroirs gives a consistent house style and quality; typified by ripe, rich fruit characters and an underlying power.

About Louis Latour
Founded in 1797, Maison Louis Latour has been in family ownership for 11 generations and are one of the region's most famous names. They have the privilege of creating wines from their own 50 hectare domaine in the Côte d'Or and also from the very best grapes and wines purchased through the negociant arm of the business. They also produce all their own barrels at their small, traditional cooperage in Savigny-Lès-Beaune.
