The Montagny 1er Cru "La Grande Roche" 2017 reveals a beautiful pale yellow colour. This wine has an intense nose and offers lovely aromas of yellow fruits and almond paste. The ample mouth is characterised by flavours of muscat and pepper.
The Montagny appellation includes vineyards in the Côte Chalonnaise villages of Montagny, Buxy, Saint Vallerin and Jully-les-Buxy. The appellation is only for Chardonnay wines and includes village and premier cru designated sites. Montagny Premier Cru La Grande Roche benefits from its location quite high on a sunny hillside on a limestone bedrock.

About Louis Latour
Founded in 1797, Maison Louis Latour has been in family ownership for 11 generations and are one of the region's most famous names. They have the privilege of creating wines from their own 50 hectare domaine in the Côte d'Or and also from the very best grapes and wines purchased through the negociant arm of the business. They also produce all their own barrels at their small, traditional cooperage in Savigny-Lès-Beaune.
