This is Chenin Blanc from one of Anjous most exciting new producers, Olivier Lejeune. With vines planted in the same black schist soils as the now rightly adored Richard Leroy (whose wines are now near impossible  to find) we find that Oliviers work, whilst standing completely by itself in terms of depth and finesse, bears some of the same hallmarks. A truly wonderful wine that will continue to age for the next decade.
