The paucity of 2016s harvest in Burgundy led the Cossards to look further afield for fruit to fill their tanks. Thankfully they were directed, by Jean-François Ganevat no less, to a plot of old Pinot Noir vines in the Jura that they have transformed in to this wine of fine red berries, earth and spice.
