The Martin family has been settled in Saint-Julien for over 300 years, mastering various jobs related to viticulture (ploughmen, cellar-masters, managers, coopers) and also owning a small wine estate known as Château Haut-Beychevelle Gloria. Considered to be the familys historic property, the cru was the catalyst for Henri Martins passion for wine.

This wine is very typical of the Saint-Julien appellation, offering the advantage of being accessible and pleasing in its early years but retaining all of the qualities of a wine for laying down that you would expect from a great Médoc.
