This is a brand new, single vineyard release from Bodegas Amaren which we were lucky enough to try from barrel whilst visiting the Bodega in March 2019. This wine blew our minds and was the standout in a very impressive selection. Bueno!

Fresh purple flowers, especially violets give it an aroma of petit verdot – specifically when used in tiny quantities in a St Julien or Pauillac. Ripe, bright red fruits are complemented by a finish of pencil lead minerality and Raspberry conserve.
