An incredible right-bank Bordeaux made from 100% Merlot that was picked from two small plots, holding 17 and 27 year old vines respectively, in the prestine early morning conditions. The wine shows power and elegance beyond its years and is sure to have a great many more in it. I can’t wait to see the evolution of this wine developing more pronounced savoury and gamey aromas. The only fault with this wine is that it drinks so well now that I’m not sure anyone will be able to resist the temptation of cracking it open before it has a chance to evolve!
