Ruby Colour, with aromas of smoked cassis, nutmeg and cinnamon. Notes of stewed cherries & strawberries, tobacco and dried rose petal on the palate.
This wine stood out to me as ‘best in show’ at a tasting in Feb 2019 and I still find it beguiling. All the best parts of serious Barolo and Brunello at a much more modest price!
