Ahh, the spicy traminer. A delicious and powerfully aromatic grape variety that, in this example, is sure to impress with its freshness and vast array of flavours and charictaristic roundness. Often hailing from Alsace or Germany, the flavours in this wine range from ginger to apricot, to honey to yellow flower to orange marmalade back to cloves and everything in between.

My favourite thing to do is to put it with a spicy curry or some richer Chinese food. This is one of the only styles of wine that fits that pairing and does so beautifully.
