Island in the Caribbean. Before this island became an American territory, it was
a Danish colony. Around the 1840s, the pharmacist Albert Heinrich was not only
allowed to open a pharmacy but also to produce alcohol.The A.H. Riise X.O. Royal
Reserve Limited Edition belongs to the best rums of the West Indies. Only rums
that have been stored and matured in wooden barrels for at least 20 years are
used. The Master Distiller of the house selects each barrel personally. Every
single bottle is numbered, with the barrel number and the date of bottling.
It got its name from the eponymous Prince Carl of Denmark - Kong Haakon VII.
