distillery in the Scottish Highlands. The distillery itself is often referred to
as Knockdhu, while the brand name for its whisky is AnCnoc. The history of
Knockdhu Distillery dates back to 1894, when it was founded by John Morrison.
Over the years, the distillery has maintained its traditional production
methods, including the use of copper pot stills and traditional perennial
warehouses for aging. At the request of Justerini & Brooks, the 12-year-old
Knockdhu was renamed AnCnoc to avoid confusion with J&B's Knockando.
The 12-year-old AnCnoc is an exceptionally mild and elegant malt with only very
slight hints of peatiness.
