The House of Angostura, founded around 1830 by the German doctor Johann Gottlieb
Benjamin Siegert in Trinidad and Tobago, stands for first-class spirits and a
rich tradition. The basis for the high-quality rums is the finest molasses,
which is processed into extraordinary creations in the distillery. In addition
to its famous rums, Angostura is also known for the legendary Angostura Aromatic
Bitters, which Siegert developed back in 1824 in the Venezuelan city of
Angostura (now Ciudad Bolivar) as a tonic against tropical diseases.

With the Angostura Tribute Distiller's Cut, the latest limited edition from the
renowned Angostura Private Cask Collection, the distillery is honoring its
long-time Master Distiller John Georges. He has led the distillery team for over
40 years, applying his exceptional knowledge and meticulous quality standards to
create unique rums.



This exclusive edition is based on a rum matured for 25 years, which has been
refined with younger distillates to create a harmonious composition.
